The following TLO reset instructions are for the MK5 and MK6 Intra-X ONLY.
TLO on your display means your processor is waiting for your chemicals to reach their proper operating temperatures. When the correct temperatures are achieved TLO will be replaced with three horizontal dashes across the middle of your display indicating your machine is ready to process film. TLO can remain on your display for up to 15 minutes, depending on the coolness of your chemicals and room. If TLO is still present on your display after 15 minutes you may need to reset the machine's thermal overload. Follow the instructions below to reset the thermal overload.

TLO can remain on your display for up to 15 minutes, depending on the coolness of your chemicals and room. If TLO is still present on your display after 15 minutes you may need to reset the machine's thermal overload. Follow the instructions below to reset the thermal overload.
- Turn your machine's power OFF.
- Remove the input power cord.
- Remove the screw located above the input power socket.
- Remove the blue control lid.
- Remove the side panel that was under the blue control lid. To remove the side panel place a flat-tipped screwdriver halfway down the outside seam where the side panel meets the back panel. Turn the screwdriver clockwise to bend the back panel slightly away from the side panel. Hold the screwdriver in this position while grabbing the top of the side panel and pull it upwards. Do the same thing where the side panel meets the front panel. Put your flat-tipped screwdriver halfway down the outside seam where the side panel meets the front panel and turn the screwdriver clockwise while pulling up on the side panel at the same time. You should now be able to remove the side panel.
- If your machine is a MK5 you should see the cassette after removing the side panel. The cassette has a cover with a large decal on it. Under the lower left side of the cassette you should see some wires that go under the cassette. The wires will be orange, red, blue and green/yellow in color. The wires go to the developer and fixer chemical heaters. You might need a flashlight at this point to see the heaters. Located between the developer and fixer chemical heaters is a black, dime shaped piece of plastic with a red button on top. This is your thermal overload reset. Press the red button in a few times. You can easily do this with a long, flat-tipped screwdriver. You may feel it push back in place or you might not feel it push back in place. In either case, if it was popped, it is now reset.
- If your machine is a MK6 you should see the developer and fixer chemical heaters located towards the bottom left-hand side after removing the side panel. You should see orange, red, blue and green/yellow wires going to the heaters. Located between the developer and fixer chemical heaters is a black, dime shaped piece of plastic with a red button on top. This is your thermal overload reset. Press the red button in a few times. You can easily do this with a long, flat-tipped screwdriver. You may feel it push back in place or you might not feel it push back in place. In either case, if it was popped, it is now reset.
- Replace the side panel.
- Replace the blue control lid.
- Replace the screw located above the input power socket.
- Reconnect your machine’s input power cord.
- Turn your machine's power ON.
- After the initiation cycle completes TLO will appear on your display. Give your machine up to 15 minutes for the chemicals to properly heat to temperature. When heated properly TLO will be replaced with three horizontal dashes across the middle of the display. You can now process film.
