Aquacut - Check the Vibrator
- Check your foot pedal for proper operation before proceeding. See instructions for Testing a Foot Pedal.
- After testing reconnect the foot pedal lines to the Aquacut.
- Make sure the airline is connected to the back of the Aquacut.
- Make sure your machine is turned off at this time.
- Remove both chamber lids.
- Remove any powder canisters in your Aquacut and vacuum any loose powder located in the bottom of both powder chambers.
- Replace both chamber lids.
- Open your machine and remove the water reservoir.
- Now open your machine fully as noted in the next step.
- Directly under the left dosing chamber is a vertical, white latch that must be pushed towards the right dosing chamber. This allows the upper half of your machine to open fully. NOTE: The upper half is top-heavy. Control the laying down of the upper half. Do not allow it slam down.
- Locate the Powder Control Valve. It's almost brass/silver-like in color and can be found near the center of the upper half of your machine when it is fully opened. It can be further identified by looking for a black or blue plastic hose that is attached to the valve's right side.
- Remove the black or blue hose from the Powder Control Valve.
- Turn your machine on by rotating the Power Control Knob to Position 1.
- You should not hear any air leaks at this time. If you do hear air leaking from the machine, turn your machine off and check the dosing chamber lids for tightness. Turn your machine back on. Listen again for any air leaks. Eliminate any air leaks before continuing.
- Press your foot pedal to Position 3 and hold it there.
- Check for good air flow from the valve tip, where you removed the black or blue hose from. If you have good air flow from the valve tip this indicates you have good air flow up to the hose that feeds your vibrator. If you have poor air flow or no air flow, all air lines associated with powder flow need to be checked and replaced if necessary.
- Turn the air supply to the machine off.
- Turn your machine off.
- Remove the air supply line from the back of your machine. Hold this line firmly in your hand and DO NOT let it go.
- Turn the air supply back on. You should hear air rapidly escaping from the air supply hose you are holding in your hand. DO NOT let it go as it will tend to dance around like a whip.
- Press the end of the air supply hose tightly against the black or blue hose you removed from the Powder Control Valve.
- Listen for the vibrator. At this point you should hear it working. If you hear the vibrator working your vibrator is good.
- If you do not hear the vibrator, your vibrator is bad and needs replaced.
